All l want is a security system that l can pay for and do not have to sign
a contract or make monthly payments.

May I recommend the Honeywell Lynx R? It is a professional
wireless security system. You do not have to subscribe to any alarm
monitoring service although it does have the capability. It also has the
capability to page you whenever an alarm is triggered.

A big loving dog that barks when something gets too close. All
you want to be is alerted .
Absolutely agree with the other two. A dog is the best home
security, even if it is little. Just pick one that will bark when people
come to the door. Our dog never barked at anyone, despite being
(supposedly) part pit bull.
